Base Salary

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to acquire, store, and deliver data more efficiently.
Advise projects on data integration activities, data needs, and technical approaches.
Research data sources and facilitate effective data sharing.
Develop, maintain, and revise data management practices, procedures, diagrams, and models.
Develop and revise project code and related content to improve data performance and resolve discrepancies.
Deliver stable, well-tested XNAT releases on a predictable cadence while minimizing downtime and data-integrity risk.
Reduce defects and technical debt in XNAT core modules and expand the platform’s capabilities.
Serve as a technical point of contact for institutional partners integrating with or extending XNAT.
Create and perform unit tests, contribute to test planning, and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education and/or experience that may substitute for the minimum education requirement.
At least five years of data-related work experience.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and develop software based on approved architecture and technical designs.
Preferred experience developing or administering XNAT or a comparable medical imaging informatics/PACS-adjacent platform.
Preferred experience with DICOM standards and medical imaging data formats and workflows.
Preferred experience with production software release management, including versioning, regression testing, and rollout coordination.
Preferred experience contributing to open-source projects, community code review, issue triage, and test-plan writing.
Preferred knowledge of Linux server administration and RHEL deployment environments.
A driver’s license and specific professional certification are not required.
