Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance Golang backend services and distributed systems.
- Build systems processing trillions of prediction requests daily for real-time fraud detection and prevention.
- Improve system scalability, reliability, latency, memory usage, and cost efficiency.
- Develop, test, review, deploy, and maintain software across multiple environments.
- Deploy and support services in Kubernetes environments using cloud-native practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, malware analysts, researchers, and product managers.
- Investigate fraudulent activities and develop new fraud prevention approaches.
- Contribute to backlog prioritization, technical planning, architecture, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with Golang and backend engineering.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and system design.
- Proven experience with high-load distributed systems, performance tuning, latency optimization, and memory management.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm Charts.
- Experience with SQL databases, large-scale data processing, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle and ability to design stable, maintainable, and scalable architectures.
- Experience working with AI tools, LLMs, or agent-based systems.
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and work effectively in a cross-functional product environment.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher and availability for 3–4 hours of overlap with the EST time zone.
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Python, Snowflake, AdTech, or C++ is a plus.
