Base Salary
$79k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL-based development and operational systems.
- Develop automation and configuration-management solutions using Ansible, Bash, and/or Python.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins pipelines, including runners and agents.
- Deploy and support containerized applications and environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Diagnose issues across operating systems, networking, applications, and deployment environments.
- Support DevSecOps processes including automated testing, security scanning, vulnerability remediation, and security-control integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, installations, troubleshooting, and deployment workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Ansible, Bash, and/or Python for configuration management and automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, and secure software deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance, experience in DoD or federal environments, and familiarity with RKE2, Helm, Traefik, Longhorn, JFrog Artifactory, Harbor, NGINX, or HAProxy.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, TLS/SSL certificates, reverse proxies, load balancing, infrastructure as code, and Agile development environments.
