Responsibilities
- Develop features for an automated code analysis platform.
- Expand security findings triage and verification across MongoDB products.
- Automate finding management so engineering teams can use it on a self-serve basis.
- Build a centralized security signal analytics platform.
- Design and build tooling that shifts security practices earlier in the software development lifecycle.
- Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including building, deploying, and operating software at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production-level software development experience with Python and TypeScript in a cloud environment.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and containers.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD systems, including linting, testing, and deployment strategies.
- Strong understanding of building AI agents.
- Ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks after alignment with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify problems, implement solutions, and deliver complex projects.
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of threat modeling, secure code review, CVE, or related security practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with C++ or Rust.
- Preferred: experience designing and operating systems that safely execute untrusted code using container or sandbox isolation, least-privilege credential handling, and network egress controls.
- Preferred: experience with NoSQL or database development.
