Responsibilities

Develop and support a large-scale web application while contributing to its modernization.
Build new cloud-based services using Go, TypeScript, and AWS.
Create front-end experiences in collaboration with Product and UX.
Break down features, plan iterations, and contribute to technical design discussions.
Investigate and resolve technical issues through debugging and problem-solving.
Participate in code reviews, pairing, and knowledge-sharing.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across Dublin, London, and other international locations.
Provide technical direction, support engineering decisions, and mentor team members.

Strong professional experience in full-stack web development.
Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript front-end technologies.
Experience developing or supporting large, mature web applications.
Familiarity with PHP and willingness to work with an established PHP platform.
Experience with or interest in Go and TypeScript.
Understanding of web application architecture, APIs, and web services.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience using Git or another version-control system.
Experience working in a collaborative agile engineering team.
Experience leading technical discussions, mentoring engineers, and contributing to technical direction for the senior position.
AWS, Go, TypeScript, Python, Unix/Linux, and prior technical leadership or mentoring experience are beneficial.
