Responsibilities
- Design and build PHP backend services and APIs, using TypeScript and Node.js where appropriate.
- Own features end-to-end from data modeling through API implementation.
- Design asynchronous, event-driven systems with message queues, dead-letter queues, retry policies, and resilient architectures.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving multi-table joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions.
- Operate and monitor AWS services, including ECS, ECR, SQS, SES, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, and ElastiCache.
- Contribute to the TypeScript/Node backend and Nuxt 3/Vue 3 frontend as needed.
Requirements
- Solid PHP experience, with relevant Laravel or Symfony experience welcomed.
- JavaScript or TypeScript experience, preferably TypeScript, across backend and frontend development.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions, and performance-aware querying.
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
- Experience designing asynchronous and event-driven systems, including dead-letter queues and retry policies.
