Base Salary
$112k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web solutions supporting order management and trading platforms.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support distributed enterprise application systems.
- Build and support Java, Spring Boot, RESTful web service, and database solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, technology partners, and operations teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Apply OAuth 2, SAML, JWT, and Schwab security and authorization frameworks.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, secure coding, performance support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Participate in Agile refinement, estimation, solutioning, planning, and delivery activities.
- Support NGOMS REST Services, ngOMS Security, OAuth capabilities, and related CIG applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
- At least 5 years of Java design and programming experience.
- At least 3 years of experience building or consuming RESTful services.
- At least 3 years of experience with Spring Boot and enterprise application development.
- Experience with database development and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams and participating in refinement, planning, development, and production support.
- Experience with Atlassian tool suites including Bamboo, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience with UNIX or Linux environments.
- Preferred experience with Schwab’s order management ecosystem, financial services, high-throughput resilient applications, performance tools, application tuning, production monitoring, OAuth 2, SAML, JWT, Splunk, Oracle RAC, Oracle Coherence, GitHub, GCP, AWS, Mac OS, and related development tools.
