Base Salary
$102k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve scalable data pipelines and API integrations.
- Design and maintain data architectures, integrations, and solutions for enterprise analytics and reporting.
- Implement data quality monitoring and support reliable, secure production data.
- Translate product and business concepts into incremental technical deliverables.
- Participate in hands-on design sessions, code reviews, and architectural recommendations.
- Build distributed, componentized applications using event-driven patterns.
- Apply generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, troubleshoot systems, and design scalable solutions.
- Support data governance, healthcare data standards, system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft SQL.
- 3+ years of experience with big data technologies including Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Dataflows, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
- Understanding of automated testing, code reviews, telemetry, iterative delivery, and DevOps.
- Experience with relational, columnar, key-value, and graph storage architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake tables and Parquet data stored in ADLS.
- Experience building distributed, componentized applications using event-driven patterns.
- Solid foundation in software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Experience working with healthcare datasets; HL7 or EDI familiarity is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and demonstrate strong ownership and attention to detail.
