Responsibilities
- Build automation using CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage, and software development best practices.
- Create reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to improve system and process efficiency.
- Partner with security teams to understand industry threats, address vulnerabilities, and improve secure operations.
- Drive operational excellence by reducing risk, complexity, waste, cost, and inefficiency.
- Establish technical direction, negotiate technical decisions, and drive innovative solutions with stakeholders.
- Lead technical design, documentation, validation, and implementation alignment with technical and business strategies.
- Develop architectural designs for scalable applications while managing delivery costs.
- Support production-impacting incidents and key customer events on a 24x7x365 basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience using automation to manage Linux systems and infrastructure, specifically RedHat.
- 8+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, HTML, AJAX, or another equivalent object-oriented language.
- 8+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and understanding SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
- Experience building high-performance, scalable, robust 24x7 environments or applications.
- Experience creating cloud orchestration scripts or automation using Perl, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Ability to create secure, high-quality code that is operable at scale.
- Availability for production-impacting incidents and key customer events on a 24x7x365 basis.
