Base Salary
$144k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, solution design, and architectural validation for enterprise accounts.
- Deliver technical presentations, whiteboarding sessions, software demonstrations, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Translate customer business challenges into technical architectures and clearly communicate business outcomes and ROI.
- Analyze competitive technologies, articulate architectural differentiation, and support customer adoption and deal closure.
- Collaborate with product specialists, channel partners, systems integrators, value-added resellers, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to technical account planning, expansion campaigns, RFP/RFI responses, and field feedback.
Requirements
- Experience translating customer business requirements into technical architectures within enterprise IT environments.
- Experience building and delivering live software demonstrations, proof-of-concept tests, or customer technical evaluations.
- Professional experience supporting enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or observability/data analytics solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical professional experience.
- Preferred experience in technical pre-sales, sales or solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical consulting.
- Preferred technical certifications such as Splunk Enterprise Admin or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
- Preferred experience building relationships with IT directors, technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with competitive analysis, channel partners, joint account pursuits, account planning, expansion campaigns, and RFP/RFI responses; a Master’s degree plus 3 years or a PhD is also listed as a preferred qualification.
