Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize the central AI Gateway MCP server using FastAPI and uvicorn.
  • Build the Redis ElastiCache session layer with identity binding, role-resolved tool sets, token lifecycle management, quotas, and distributed rate limiting.
  • Implement on-demand connector provisioning with ephemeral containers, VPC-internal networking, and AWS Secrets Manager credential retrieval.
  • Develop MCP connectors for Oracle DB, SharePoint Graph API, Rally, ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems.
  • Build automated unit, integration, load, and chaos testing for high-concurrency and fault-tolerant platform operation.
  • Maintain observability using structured logging, Prometheus metrics, Kinesis Firehose, OpenSearch, and Grafana dashboards.
  • Design CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, automated image builds, ECS task updates, and blue/green deployments.
  • Own Entra OIDC validation, PII masking, WAF rules, secrets autorotation, and OWASP-aligned API security controls.
  • Maintain the Snowflake MCP codebase, including session management, RBAC, PII masking, configuration, and secrets modules.
  • Develop production troubleshooting tools and create documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combinations including a master’s degree with 2 years, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year, or 16 years of related experience.
  • At least 4 years of Python development experience with advanced async/await, FastAPI, multiprocessing, and production performance optimization.
  • Hands-on Model Context Protocol experience covering MCP servers, tool definitions, and client integration patterns.
  • Deep AWS experience with ECS Fargate, ElastiCache Redis, Secrets Manager, Route 53, ALB, ECR, Aurora PostgreSQL, SSM Parameter Store, CloudWatch, and Kinesis Firehose.
  • Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD integration experience with OIDC federation, Graph API or JWT claims, and RBAC implementation.
  • Database integration and optimization experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of distributed-systems patterns including circuit breakers, exponential-backoff retries, bulkhead isolation, Redis-backed state, and graceful degradation.
  • Experience with Docker multi-stage builds, ECS task definitions, non-root container security, and health endpoints.
  • Experience implementing JWT validation, rate limiting, input validation, PII detection, and masking.
  • Observability experience with structured JSON logging, Prometheus instrumentation, distributed tracing concepts, and CloudWatch Logs Insights.
  • Git and GitHub Actions experience with automated testing pipelines.
  • Availability for rotational on-call duties outside standard business hours may be required.
  • Preferred qualifications include enterprise-scale concurrent MCP systems, Snowflake optimization, Terraform, ephemeral infrastructure provisioning, advanced Redis patterns, audit logging, data governance, OWASP remediation, AI/LLM platforms, Anthropic Claude, Claude.ai, Claude Code, Copilot Studio, and DevOps automation.

Benefits

  • Rotational on-call duties outside standard business hours may be required.
