Responsibilities
- Own activities across the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle using Agile or traditional methodologies.
- Design, develop, test, and support Java server-side applications and their development infrastructure.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and design application solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams on application and supporting-infrastructure changes.
- Automate testing and deployment activities to improve delivery speed and quality.
- Engineer services that meet resilience, information-security, and corporate standards.
- Configure and deploy applications using Ansible and manage or debug issues in Linux environments.
- Engineer CI/CD pipelines for test execution and deployments.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support for releases or incidents.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of similar experience.
- Experience designing and developing Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle, Ansible, Linux, and CI/CD pipeline engineering.
- Ability to engineer services meeting corporate resilience and information-security standards.
- Preferred experience with React, React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Cypress, Terraform, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and AWS services.
- Preferred experience with automated web-application testing, infrastructure as code, scalable Kubernetes clusters, containerized applications, code and dependency scanning, and Terraform executed through CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, EKS, Lambda, S3, EFS, Managed Kafka, ELB, and Route 53 is preferred.
- Experience using AI tools to improve development productivity is preferred.
