Responsibilities
- Communicate project status, recommendations, risks, and delivery information to client stakeholders.
- Develop client code that is performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
- Participate in requirements gathering, planning, estimation, feature presentation, coding, design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Drive project delivery from conceptualization through deployment within defined architecture, with autonomy and accountability.
- Provide technical responsibility for delivered solutions and contribute to account-level architectural activities.
- Collaborate across internal engineering teams, client teams, designers, managers, and product delivery stakeholders to improve client success.
- Help teams remove delivery roadblocks and lead initiatives that provide value beyond day-to-day project work.
- Participate in software development governance and methodology activities, including planning, retrospectives, and related team activities.
- Mentor engineers through Communities of Practice and project teams while supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
- Partner with PDM to improve processes, ensure delivery success, and raise project risks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java 11, EclipseLink or similar JPA implementations such as Hibernate, JSF2, Bootstrap, CSS3, Oracle DB, AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Strong experience with Java 8 or Java 11.
- Willingness to perform UI development using JSF.
- Experience with JPA implementations, relational databases, web frameworks, and Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with unit testing.
- Technical ownership of solutions and experience participating in architectural activities.
- Experience with requirements analysis, problem analysis and resolution, technical documentation, and cross-team delivery.
- Additional desired experience includes jQuery, Chef or another automation tool, JBoss/WildFly, PrimeFaces, CloudFormation, and the technologies listed above.
