Responsibilities
- Lead and encourage others in architecting and implementing fault-tolerant, robust, and scalable distributed backend systems.
- Design and develop high-performance, low-latency, highly available cloud-native backend solutions using Java and Spring.
- Tune application performance to optimize responsiveness and execution of critical market infrastructure services.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and requirements elaboration while maintaining clean code and robust test coverage.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in core Java and Spring is required.
- Experience building low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed systems in the financial domain is expected.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and Solace, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes or Docker deployments is desired.
- A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering or a relevant field is desirable.
- React knowledge is a plus.
- A finance degree or FRM, CFA, PRM, or similar certification is a plus.
