Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and maintain software components for secure, stable, and scalable technology products.
  • Write high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
  • Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts and technical implications of software changes.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs through review and secure coding practices.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve delivery and engineering effectiveness.
  • Gather and analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to secure, stable application development within an agile software engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to code in one or more programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and related technical processes.
  • Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and blockchain.
