Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Angular-based sports-data tooling with Java backends and MS SQL databases.
- Build features for sports data entry, sports entity management, data exploration, quality-control dashboards, and onboarding new sports and leagues.
- Create a more robust frontend queuing mechanism using IndexedDB and AWS SQS.
- Write unit-tested code, Playwright regression tests, and load tests to ensure application stability and performance.
- Work with AWS and other public-cloud technologies on solution development, deployment, and adoption.
- Collaborate with a six-person Scrum team, contribute to architecture discussions, and share knowledge with teammates.
Requirements
- Java is mandatory, with at least three years of relevant Java experience.
- At least one year of Angular experience and a minimum of seven years of programming experience.
- Experience with ES6, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, unit-tested code, and Playwright regression testing.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and strong communication and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Good spoken and written English proficiency.
- B.E., B.Tech, BCA, or MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Preferred experience includes MS SQL, Playwright, APIs, JSONP, XML, Scrum, architecture discussions, and public-cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- An affinity with sports and strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, learning, and design skills are advantageous.
