Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient, fault-tolerant payment architectures supporting authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, reconciliation, reporting, and risk integrations.
- Build high-performance distributed systems and data ingestion layers processing millions of tracking events daily.
- Develop low-latency attribution APIs and real-time data flows using technologies such as Kafka and NoSQL databases.
- Design security and durability models for data systems while maintaining data integrity and compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
- Drive technical innovation, influence architecture and implementation decisions, and deliver mission-critical projects with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor less experienced developers and communicate technical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering and development.
- Exceptional coding experience with Core Java or similar programming languages.
- Strong SQL query composition and analysis skills.
- Experience with the Spring Framework, web services, APIs, cloud development, microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with GCP, preferably Kubernetes on GKE.
- Proven ability to design and architect complex, highly scalable, performance-driven applications.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks; Python experience is a plus.
- Ability to mentor developers, influence engineering best practices, communicate effectively, and demonstrate integrity and ethical judgment.
