Responsibilities
- Design and ship automation for deployment pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, release orchestration, validation, rollback, and reporting.
- Write production-grade Python and supporting Go, Java, or Bash tools to reduce operational toil and manual intervention.
- Support relational database build, deployment, operations, schema design, patching, upgrades, backups, recovery, performance tuning, and replication monitoring.
- Automate database configuration and schema changes across TEST and PROD environments using Ansible, Liquibase, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build GenAI-powered engineering assistants and integrate LLMs into observability, incident response, deployment, and developer-support workflows.
- Create dashboards, alerts, and metrics for distributed systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or Datadog.
- Contribute to high-availability, zero-downtime deployment, self-healing, auto-scaling, security, compliance, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Document runbooks and engineering guides and participate in on-call rotations and Agile team activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; 2023–2025 graduates and December 2025 graduates are preferred or welcomed.
- Proficiency in Python and comfort with at least one additional language such as Go, Java, or Bash.
- Foundational knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and database connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix environments and command-line tools.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure and conceptual knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and modern software delivery pipelines.
- Curiosity about GenAI platforms and agentic systems such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or LangChain; hands-on exposure is a plus.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, Liquibase, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Datadog, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, scikit-learn, PyTorch, LangChain, or LangGraph.
- Preferred knowledge of database administration, Git workflows, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure or open-source projects.
