Responsibilities
- Build backend connectivity services powering millions of virtual machines on Databricks.
- Lead the design and development of services connecting the control plane and compute plane.
- Improve compute-plane scalability and efficient use of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient networking systems.
- Solve multi-cloud and distributed-systems challenges as a hands-on technical leader.
Requirements
- 8+ years of production-level experience in Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- 4+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Extensive experience in the networking domain.
