Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize a multi-tenant (CDB/PDB) environment.
- Act as the primary authority for Oracle 19c databases, including patching and performance tuning.
- Drive client migrations from on-premises to OCI, ensuring uniformity in environments.
- Manage internal firewalls and secure client connectivity via VPN tunnels and IPSec configurations.
- Maintain high availability for in-house servers while scaling cloud infrastructure.
- Own the Disaster Recovery strategy using Oracle native replication technologies.
- Collaborate with customers to implement complex software customizations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and Systems Engineering.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle 19c, Multitenancy, Oracle APEX, and legacy Oracle Forms/Reports.
- Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), specifically VCNs and Load Balancers.
- Advanced administration of Oracle Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and firewall management.
- Prior experience supporting or integrating large-scale ERP systems is preferred.
- Ability to operate independently in a 100% remote environment.
- Comfortable translating complex technical requirements for business stakeholders.
- Shift focus from maintenance to optimization through automation and standardization.
