Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and lead the long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for the Cloud Platform.
- Serve as the primary technical authority across all cloud engineering domains.
- Drive cross-team technical alignment and establish engineering standards.
- Lead major architectural initiatives focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
- Partner with leadership to align technical strategy with business priorities.
- Identify and resolve systemic architectural challenges and technical debt.
- Guide the design and implementation of complex distributed systems.
- Champion the adoption of GenAI-based tools across the organization.
- Mentor engineers and lead architecture reviews and technical planning.
- Act as the highest technical escalation point for complex issues.
- Champion security-first architecture and operational excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to evolve platform capabilities.
- Drive a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture.
- Proven success in leading technical strategy across multiple teams.
- Significant experience with enterprise-scale cloud platforms on GCP.
- Prior experience in a Principal Engineer or equivalent leadership role.
- Expert-level software engineering skills in Go and Python.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
- Extensive knowledge of GCP services and infrastructure automation.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Proven ability to architect and scale secure cloud systems.
- Deep understanding of APIs, microservices, and messaging technologies.
- Strong Linux systems expertise and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and technical decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
