Base Salary
$90k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for the Tiny Homes cloud platform.
- Diagnose and resolve customer deployment blockers involving containerized workloads, GKE, networking, and mesh/control-plane internals.
- Convert recurring customer issues into reusable technologies, tooling, documentation, video content, and self-service processes.
- Develop functional and destructive test suites to support rapid production deployments.
- Collaborate with product teams on valuable, developer-ready, understandable, and testable user stories.
- Keep platform knowledge current, correct stale customer-facing guidance, and mentor junior engineers through technical discussions and development guidance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of Docker, GKE, and Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including Vantage, iptables, and identity providers.
- Knowledge of Envoy, Wayfinder, and Tailscale mesh technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Spinnaker, GitHub, and Flux CD.
- Knowledge of cloud admission controllers and tenant workload configuration.
