Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Build and support Agentic AI capabilities, including tool calling, memory, guardrails, and policy enforcement.
- Drive adoption, governance, and validation standards for AI-assisted software development and automation.
- Influence product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide software development frameworks, tools, and practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, or Golang.
- Advanced knowledge of AI-agent development and experience with Agentic AI frameworks.
- Understanding of Model Context Protocol concepts and its ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and other relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security controls.
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Practical AWS cloud-native experience developing highly resilient, low-latency web services architectures.
- Preferred experience with MCP specifications and ecosystem, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and agentic controls involving sandboxing, identity, and security.
