Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture and design of high-quality distributed systems.
- Develop roadmaps and vision for scalable and robust product growth.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to make the platform open and extensible.
- Align with stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions.
- Apply internal and industry best practices in system design.
- Investigate and resolve critical system issues.
- Work with geographically distributed engineers to improve software development and operations practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years of software design and development experience using Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
- Experience with large-scale system architecture design and development.
- Experience with cloud computing using AWS.
- Experience developing container-based testing environments.
- Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Spring.
