Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and implement functionally appropriate application systems.
- Respond to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, onboarding support, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for engineers.
- Conduct code reviews focused on quality, security, and adherence to standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and agile delivery.
- Communicate technical status, challenges, risks, project proposals, and system documentation to stakeholders.
- Design system specifications and resolve issues arising during design, testing, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related software development position.
- Five years of experience in software design and development using PL/SQL, Core Java, J2EE, Spring technologies, Oracle, and RESTful web services.
- Two years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth, JWT, RESTful web services, Python, Shell scripting, PostgreSQL, and Apache Tomcat.
- Two years of experience with AWS technologies including EKS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and Route 53.
- Two years of experience with Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora, and Docker containerization.
- Two years of experience deploying applications on Apache Tomcat.
