Responsibilities
- Lead implementation across multiple projects by translating architectural direction into technical plans, code designs, and shipped software.
- Design and ship production C#/.NET services and APIs for high-volume payment data under PCI DSS constraints.
- Build and evolve client-facing web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Contribute hands-on to a LangGraph-based agentic application, including orchestration, tool integration, testing, evaluations, and observability.
- Own engineering standards for code reviews, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and CI/CD practices in Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and operate services on AKS across Azure and dual on-premises datacenters in partnership with DevOps.
- Lead the risk platform build team and mentor data platform, DevOps, and application engineers through reviews, pairing, and design collaboration.
- Define and enforce standards for AI-assisted development tools including Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
- Participate in architecture design reviews and ADR discussions and guide application integration with the Microsoft Fabric data estate.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a technical lead or equivalent.
- Expert-level C#/.NET experience with ASP.NET Core, REST API design, and microservices patterns.
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with production React experience.
- Solid Azure and Kubernetes, including AKS, container, deployment, and Azure DevOps CI/CD experience.
- Strong relational database skills covering schema design, query performance, transactional correctness, OLTP workloads, and SQL for analytical endpoints.
- Knowledge of distributed-systems fundamentals including API design, idempotency, failure modes, and data consistency across service boundaries.
- Ability to raise engineering standards through code review, testing discipline, and clear technical design.
- Interest in AI-assisted and AI-native development; experience shipping an LLM product is not required.
- Strongly preferred experience with LLM-powered or agentic applications, including LangGraph or LangChain, RAG pipelines, agent orchestration, vector search, LLM evaluation, or MCP-based tool integration.
- Python proficiency is recommended for agentic and ingestion work.
- Payments or financial services experience, PCI-scoped systems, messaging and eventing, observability, identity standards, Airflow, Kogito/DMN, OpenBao, Terraform, or Microsoft Fabric and Delta Lake familiarity are advantageous.
- Must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug test.
