Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and iterate on AI agents and applications for internal Customer Success workflows and customer-facing onboarding, support, and engagement experiences.
  • Scope and prioritize high-leverage opportunities from competing requests.
  • Define success metrics, track adoption and outcomes, and use data and customer feedback to improve tools.
  • Make end-to-end technical decisions regarding LLMs, orchestration frameworks, third-party tools, and production infrastructure.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reliable code and ship quickly using AI-assisted development.
  • Partner with DevOps and Security on reliable deployment, security, compliance, and production infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success leadership and frontline teams to translate pain points into solutions.
  • Drive adoption through demos and training, and establish documentation, playbooks, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with Python preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI, plus prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
  • Ability to evaluate AI tools and models based on cost, latency, accuracy, and maintainability.
  • Strong familiarity with APIs, webhooks, integration patterns, messy real-world data, and reliable data pipelines.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, including Service Cloud and Experience Cloud; Apex, Flow, or Salesforce APIs are a bonus.
  • Strong product judgment, customer empathy, prioritization, business-impact reasoning, and ability to work independently through ambiguity.
  • Ability to collaborate with DevOps, Security, Customer Success leadership, and frontline users.
