Responsibilities
- Build reliable, highly performant SQL connectors for partners and enterprise customers.
- Optimize SQL drivers for performance, reliability, and telemetry.
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate infrastructure supporting partner integrations.
- Collaborate with SQL server teams to deliver connector features based on customer needs.
- Work with product teams to shape and evolve Databricks Partner Connect.
- Maintain open-source repositories and engage with and grow the SQL connector developer community.
- Lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
Requirements
- BTech or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of production-level experience in Java, Python, Go, or a similar programming language.
- Experience architecting, developing, deploying, and operating highly performant systems.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source repositories and communities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Ability to work toward a multi-quarter vision with incremental deliverables and navigate ambiguity with stakeholders.
