Responsibilities
- Enhance the core React Native codebase for the Sportsbook app.
- Profile and optimize app startup and runtime performance.
- Build and maintain shared frameworks, tooling, libraries, and components.
- Improve developer experience through better tooling and documentation.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and lead multi-phase improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the domain.
- Join the on-call rota for incident response support.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering production React Native applications or strong React skills with interest in mobile development.
- Strong TypeScript skills and understanding of React patterns and maintainable code practices.
- Practical experience profiling and improving performance in React Native applications.
- Experience with React Native native modules and native Android/iOS development is a plus.
- Familiarity with mobile development best practices, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to collaborative technical standards.
- A quality-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
