Responsibilities
- Drive technical sales through technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and architecture accelerators.
- Lead architecture sessions and technical workshops to accelerate Azure adoption.
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, hybrid, and cloud-native solutions for customer workloads.
- Guide customers through workload migration, modernization, optimization, and AI infrastructure adoption.
- Resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering teams and sharing customer insights.
- Maintain expertise in cloud migration, resiliency, security, compliance, and enterprise applications.
- Represent Microsoft in customer forums and technical communities through thought leadership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or a qualifying degree with 3–4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- The posting also specifies 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and migration of Windows, SQL Server, Linux, and PostgreSQL workloads.
- Experience designing or selling hybrid networking, secure connectivity, or network performance optimization solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, App Platform, and containerization strategies.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, security, compliance, hybrid cloud scenarios, and scalable cloud solution design.
- At least 4 years of experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, NetApp, VMware, RedHat, and Azure VMware Solution.
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and public-sector compliance standards.
- Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders in designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions.
