Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Java trading applications and business solutions in collaboration with traders and global technology teams.
- Resolve complex business and system problems through application programming, systems analysis, and evaluation of industry standards.
- Design applications in alignment with the overall architecture blueprint and establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Analyze system flows and business, architecture, and infrastructure integrations to develop innovative solutions.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and controls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in application development or systems analysis, including extensive software application programming experience.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and serving as a subject matter expert in at least one application development area.
- Strong development experience with Java, Kafka, SQL, and Git.
- Experience with QA, test-driven development, and behavior-driven development practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, adjust priorities, solve problems strategically, and collaborate across geographies and time zones.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- React and full-stack development experience and knowledge of Prime Services are beneficial.
