Responsibilities
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Promote appropriate tech and engineering best practices.
- Partner with teams across Lyft on organizational privacy initiatives.
- Independently lead tasks from idea to execution.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of controls and continuous testing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
- Exposure to at least one operational or analytical data system (e.g., DynamoDB, Aurora, Redis).
- Proficient in at least one query language (SQL, Cypher, MQL, PL/SQL).
- Familiarity with distributed systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work through ambiguity and develop deployable solutions.
