ETL Software Engineer | Data
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica/IICS.
- Develop and support Python-based ETL scripts using Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
- Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled Airflow data-pipeline jobs and coordinate fixes with platform and infrastructure teams.
- Manage and validate API user connections and credentials across DEV, QA, STG, and PRD environments.
- Create and maintain Snowflake database objects, roles, and access requests for pipeline operations.
- Perform data-quality checks, record validation, tagging, and reconciliation across source systems.
- Coordinate change requests and deployment pull requests through DEV, QA, STG, and PRD.
- Resolve data-mapping discrepancies with business and analytics stakeholders.
- Document ETL jobs, connections, and operational runbooks.
- Respond to production support tickets involving ETL failures, connection issues, and data discrepancies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in ETL development or data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with an ETL or integration tool, with MuleSoft or Informatica/IICS strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL and a scripting language such as Python for data transformation.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Understanding of DEV/QA/STG/PRD environment promotion practices and basic GitHub version control.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working with cross-functional platform and support teams.
- Clear written communication for documenting issues, requesting approvals, and coordinating across teams.
- Experience deploying changes through CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce-adjacent data-environment experience, MuleSoft integration, Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau development and visualization, change-management workflows, and multi-source data validation and reconciliation.
