Responsibilities

Explain Engine’s architecture, technology, and functionality to technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
Lead technical designs for Engine implementation projects and build relationships with client engineering leads, service owners, and systems-integration partners.
Uncover client requirements, design integration solutions, and collaborate with Product and engineering teams on new capabilities.
Document scope and roadmap decisions to guide subsequent delivery waves.
Own the technical aspects of client deliveries, support integrations, troubleshoot issues, and translate client needs into technical requirements.
Act as a technical champion for existing clients and support their ongoing success and strategic use of Engine.

End-to-end software engineering or solution architecture experience across the software delivery lifecycle.
Experience with software service design and integration, including RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and sequence diagrams.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and large-scale cloud applications.
Experience working in client-facing roles and building stakeholder relationships.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, including communicating complex technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred experience in retail or business banking, core banking, card processing, payments, large-scale digital transformation, application migration, solution integration, SaaS client solutions, business cases, or global financial regulations.

Hybrid working with a preference for being within commuting distance of the Sydney CBD office.
Travel across Australia and New Zealand, occasional international travel, and an initial period working with engineering and product teams in London.
