Responsibilities
- Design and build high-availability key management services in Go.
- Lead the design and implementation of key lifecycle workflows.
- Advance envelope encryption for customer data protection.
- Integrate compliance requirements into the engineering design process.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in key management flows.
- Drive reliability and performance improvements for KMS services.
- Mentor IC2 engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience, with 1–2 years in cryptographic systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go and understanding of gRPC microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of applied cryptographic primitives.
- Hands-on experience with Hardware Security Modules or cloud KMS services.
- Understanding of FIPS 140-2 requirements and SOC 2 audit frameworks.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and cryptographic correctness.
- Experience with Kubernetes, SQL, and Infrastructure as Code.
