Responsibilities

  • Define architecture and design patterns for Breeze’s AI agents, tools, skills, memory, scheduled prompts, and integrations with HubSpot CRM and third-party ecosystems.
  • Expand the platform’s artifact types and enable internal HubSpot teams and partners to build high-value customer deliverables.
  • Build technical bridges that turn customer context into an active collaborator in users’ sales and marketing workflows.
  • Prototype and validate new capabilities using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks, then lead high-impact initiatives into production.
  • Drive LLM evaluation, observability, guardrails, data privacy, reliability, and trust for GenAI systems.
  • Enable HubSpot teams to expose tools and API endpoints to Breeze and provide technical leadership across engineering and product groups.
  • Mentor senior engineers on prompt engineering, model selection, agentic design, and non-deterministic systems at scale.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and scaling high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems with strict reliability requirements.
  • Deep experience with LLM orchestration, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent frameworks.
  • Understanding of model architectures, fine-tuning strategies, inference costs, and production trade-offs.
  • Experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous systems involving tool calling, complex state management, and graceful failure recovery.
  • Ability to design reusable primitives, APIs, and agentic harnesses for internal teams and partners.
  • Track record of building user-focused products and understanding the needs of sales and marketing professionals.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and evaluate new AI papers, models, and frameworks and communicate their strategic value and limitations.
  • Ability to balance rapid prototyping with production-grade engineering and provide technical mentorship.

  • Annual cash compensation is listed as $266,200–$425,900 USD, including base salary, eligible on-target commission, and annual bonus targets; some roles may also be eligible for RSUs and overtime.
