Responsibilities
- Own mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.
- Write software to improve products and scale mission capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
- Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate next steps.
- Partner with end-users to translate needs into features.
- Travel up to 25% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 8+ years of professional industry experience with C++ or Rust.
- Experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for testing and demonstrations.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: background in Physics, Mathematics, or Motion Planning for modeling, simulation, and physical systems.
- Preferred: experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
- Preferred: experience with feature and algorithm development and behavior trees.
- Preferred: experience developing software or hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
- Preferred: experience with distributed communication networks and message standards.
