Responsibilities
- Own mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.
- Write software to improve products and scale mission capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
- Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate next steps.
- Partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
- Travel up to 25% for real-world testing and demonstrations.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 8+ years of professional industry experience with C++ or Rust.
- Experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- Willingness to work on critical software with real-world impact.
- Eligibility to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience with Physics, Mathematics, motion planning, modeling and simulation, multi-agent autonomous systems, behavior trees, flight systems, safety-critical functionality, distributed communication networks, and message standards.
