Responsibilities
- Redesign manual per-customer release processes into automated, parameterized CI/CD pipelines triggered by provisioning events.
- Build and operate secrets-management infrastructure with vaulting, per-tenant scoping, and rotation schedules.
- Own infrastructure as code for provisioning APIs, configuration services, and admin consoles across development, staging, and production.
- Build monitoring, metrics, logging, and alerting for a distributed endpoint-heavy system and detect known failure modes before customer impact.
- Maintain multi-platform client build and release tooling, including platform-specific configuration, packaging, and signing.
- Strengthen access controls, logging, and production configuration distribution as part of the release process security posture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE role with direct ownership of a production CI/CD pipeline.
- Hands-on experience designing secrets management, including rotation schedules and per-tenant or per-environment scoping.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or an equivalent tool across multiple environments.
- Experience building observability through metrics, logging, and alerting for distributed systems with independent clients.
- Experience with multi-platform build pipelines across at least two operating systems, including packaging and signing requirements.
- A security-conscious approach to access control and distributed software configuration.
- Preferred: experience converting a manual, human-run release process into a fully automated project.
- Preferred: experience operating infrastructure for a self-serve, marketplace-distributed SaaS product.
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud data platform deployment models, including warehouse-adjacent compute or native application distribution.
