Base Salary

$166k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build core Command and Control software for the Lattice Mission Autonomy platform.
  • Develop software running on vehicles to manage real-time telemetry, health, and autopilot tasks.
  • Build Ground Control Station functionality for mission planning, map visualization, massive-fleet management, and autonomous behavior orchestration.
  • Process and analyze significant amounts of data and connect real-time backend flows to operator interfaces.
  • Integrate GenAI agents and natural-language interfaces for directing autonomous assets.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams including Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering.
  • Rapidly deliver and iterate on software capabilities for complex and ambiguous problems.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Backend experience with Python, C++, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
  • Understanding of how real-time backend data flows into operator interfaces.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and deliver rapidly.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred: experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, or SaaS.
  • Preferred: experience with multi-agent autonomous systems or defense technology.
  • Preferred: knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
  • Preferred: background in physics, mathematics, or motion planning for modeling and simulation and physical systems.
