Full-Stack Software Engineer, Mission Autonomy

Responsibilities
- Build core Command and Control software for the Lattice Mission Autonomy platform.
- Develop software running on vehicles to manage real-time telemetry, health, and autopilot tasks.
- Build Ground Control Station functionality for mission planning, map visualization, massive-fleet management, and autonomous behavior orchestration.
- Process and analyze significant amounts of data and connect real-time backend flows to operator interfaces.
- Integrate GenAI agents and natural-language interfaces for directing autonomous assets.
- Collaborate with specialist teams including Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering.
- Rapidly deliver and iterate on software capabilities for complex and ambiguous problems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Backend experience with Python, C++, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Understanding of how real-time backend data flows into operator interfaces.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and deliver rapidly.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, or SaaS.
- Preferred: experience with multi-agent autonomous systems or defense technology.
- Preferred: knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
- Preferred: background in physics, mathematics, or motion planning for modeling and simulation and physical systems.
