Responsibilities
- Write high-performance, concurrent Go code for product services and business logic.
- Contribute to data models, service boundaries, and the Go-based gRPC microservice ecosystem.
- Develop strictly typed gRPC and REST APIs with consistent, backward-compatible contracts.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and maintain idiomatic, testable, secure code.
- Implement application-layer resilience patterns to support high availability and uptime.
- Participate in architecture discussions and communicate technical trade-offs to peers and product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Deep production experience with Go, including runtime behavior, garbage collection, channel patterns, and context management.
- Proven experience working in a microservices environment and understanding distributed state, eventual consistency, and network fallacies.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests as part of the development process.
- Ability to evaluate bottlenecks, contribute to architecture discussions, and explain technical trade-offs clearly.
- Fluent business English.
- Experience implementing OAuth2 or OIDC authentication workflows, or working with identity providers, is preferred.
