Responsibilities
- Design, code, and manage large-scale, highly available services.
- Build end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, testing, monitoring, and multiple platforms.
- Lead API, mechanism, abstraction, architecture, and design decisions while evaluating risks and tradeoffs.
- Write high-quality backend and frontend code and improve production-grade web services.
- Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback.
- Solve complex technical problems and determine implementation feasibility.
- Mentor engineers and support the development of team members.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of backend engineering and hands-on web technology experience.
- At least 2 years of frontend or mobile development experience; React, Vue, or similar frameworks are advantageous.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker; Kubernetes; Terraform; Helm; and Argo.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and a major framework such as Express or NestJS.
- Experience with a major UI framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with databases and production-grade web service architecture and design.
- Strong written and spoken English, communication skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
