Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, develop, integrate, test, and administer embedded and real-time software systems.
  • Develop and support primarily cryptographic software code bases for end-user customers and business applications.
  • Analyze system capabilities and resolve issues involving program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test teams in an Agile software development environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with a master’s degree, or 4 years with a PhD.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government Secret clearance and Special Program Access as required by business needs.
  • Preferred qualifications include C/C++, object-oriented programming, formal software lifecycle experience, embedded real-time and multithreaded systems, cryptographic mechanisms, Xilinx platforms, TCP/IP, Link 16/TACAN, CORBA, and software-defined radios.
  • Preferred candidates may have an active Secret clearance, experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Agile development, HAIPE, OTNK, IKE, tactical datalink radios or terminals, and Link 16 waveform testing.
