Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop solutions for custom CPUs involving the Linux kernel, boot firmware, low-level libraries, and performance optimization.
- Define future high-performance SoCs and platforms in collaboration with hardware and software teams.
- Identify hardware optimization opportunities with performance teams and create platform optimizations and drivers.
- Ensure operating systems run efficiently and identify opportunities for performance enhancements.
- Develop software virtual platforms and debugging tools for pre-silicon and hardware environments.
- Work independently, influence organizational decisions, communicate complex technical information, and solve advanced technical problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 8+ years of Software Engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 7+ years or a PhD plus 6+ years.
- 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Deep understanding of computer architecture, high-performance designs, weak memory models, server platforms, and hardware/software interfaces.
- Proficiency in C, assembly language, build systems, and systems programming with Python or similar languages.
- Experience with software virtual platforms, low-level boot firmware, debugging tools, distributed version control systems, and platform standards including UEFI, ACPI, and SystemReady.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, 10+ years of high-performance systems software experience, 15+ years of software-stack experience, and 10+ years of Linux kernel development.
