Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain network storage, storage interface, and orchestration products.
- Develop high-performance C/C++ data-path software for storage systems and file systems.
- Contribute across the software development and testing lifecycle, including unit testing.
- Work with test engineers to ensure automated test regression coverage.
- Diagnose and resolve escalated customer issues with support engineers.
- Develop software in Linux-related and multithreaded environments.
- Work with networking and file-sharing protocols including NFS and SMB.
Requirements
- Strong C/C++ experience developing high-performance software for storage systems and hardware-based file systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Linux distribution-related development.
- Strong experience with networking protocols, including NFS or SMB file sharing.
- Experience programming in a multithreaded environment.
- Experience with one or more of file systems, TCP/IP, NFS, CIFS/SMB, FTP, HTTP, iSCSI, Kerberos, or LDAP.
- A proven track record of delivering complex software solutions and understanding of the full software development process.
- Experience with storage systems or management high-availability systems is a plus.
- Python experience is an added benefit.
- Scrum Master or Product Owner experience or certification is a plus.
