Responsibilities
- Deliver complex cybersecurity engineering engagements across IT and OT environments and multiple sites or regions.
- Plan and manage engineering scope, schedules, resources, risks, and delivery quality.
- Implement firewall configurations, network segmentation, VLANs, ACLs, secure site-to-cloud connectivity, and secure remote and local access.
- Produce build standards, configuration baselines, and as-built documentation.
- Align security roadmaps with operational priorities, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
- Support business development through proposal writing and presentations to prospective clients.
- Contribute to recruiting, retaining, and training cybersecurity professionals.
- Coordinate infrastructure changes with operations, including IP readdressing and recabling.
- Travel domestically and internationally for client delivery as required.
Requirements
- Experience in cybersecurity with onsite experience; OT experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong network engineering skills covering routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, firewall rulebases, firewall design and optimization, and network segmentation.
- Experience implementing secure remote and local access and privileged access solutions such as PAM, jump hosts, and PAWs.
- Working knowledge of NCSC CAF, EU NIS2, and NIST CSF, with CCNA/CCNP-level networking competence.
- Experience with major security vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto is desirable.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK is desirable.
- OT exposure including SCADA, PLC, HMI, Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, and IEC 62443 is desirable.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure changes with operations is desirable.
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Government security clearances.
- Must be a UK national or have been resident in the UK for at least five years, with no more than six months spent outside the UK, and must pass SC clearance checks.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, coaching, and professional credibility are required.
