Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops and infrastructure assessments for cloud transformation programs.
- Analyze on-premises and cloud environments and define modernization roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS architectures.
- Create high-level and low-level infrastructure and platform designs.
- Lead migration planning, dependency analysis, and workload onboarding to AWS.
- Define Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, DevOps, security, and operations teams.
- Drive platform standardization, governance, and operational best practices.
- Advise customers during architecture reviews and solutioning discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Mandatory experience with AWS architecture and solution design, AWS Landing Zone and multi-account strategy, infrastructure discovery and assessment, cloud migration and modernization, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker, CI/CD tooling, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF, CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Strong hands-on architecture skills spanning discovery, assessment, solutioning, and implementation.
- Ability to engage with client architects, infrastructure teams, and CXO stakeholders.
- Ability to define migration strategies, architecture patterns, and DevOps operating models.
- Experience supporting large enterprise cloud transformation programs across multiple geographies.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification is preferred; AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification is expected, and AWS Security Specialty certification is good to have.
