Base Salary
$175k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical direction for a significant product domain or platform capability.
- Lead architectural debt remediation to reduce systemic complexity and improve reliability and maintainability.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on multi-quarter roadmap feasibility and technical recommendations.
- Elevate engineering practices across multiple teams through RFCs, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Design and implement scalable, high-quality software solutions with cross-functional and cross-country teams.
- Shape practices for reviewing AI-generated code, supervising AI agents, and preparing architectures for agentic contribution.
- Own cookbook and knowledge-base standards for engineers and AI agents.
- Evaluate and standardize agentic development tools while balancing velocity, cost, security, and quality risks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with .NET/C# and production backend services.
- Experience designing, building, and integrating AI/ML-powered features, including third-party LLM services.
- Working knowledge of LLM behavior, prompt design, output evaluation, and non-deterministic results in product contexts.
- Hands-on production experience with agentic coding tools or AI pair-programming assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience adapting code review processes, documentation, or architecture for AI-agent contributions.
- Experience with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles applied to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional and cross-country teams.
- Preferred experience with Python, Java, or Go.
- Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
