Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Data Movement Policy framework for complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build Data Exfiltration Protection capabilities, including ingress and egress controls and anomaly detection for data movement.
- Unify Context-Aware Access policies with egress perimeter controls in a cohesive policy engine.
- Author and review design documents emphasizing reliability, low latency, and auditability.
- Translate product requirements into engineering deliverables with Product Management and peer engineers.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote high standards for code quality, testing, and security-first development.
- Own feature delivery from design through production deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful exposure to infrastructure or security systems.
- Strong understanding of network security fundamentals, Zero Trust principles, or Data Loss Prevention concepts.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems in Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience with cloud-native security controls in AWS, GCP, or Azure, such as VPC Service Controls and Private Link, or equivalent experience.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Preferred: experience with content-aware or identity-driven data governance systems, egress control, network perimeter enforcement, or policy engine design.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows, open-source security projects, or published security research.
