Responsibilities
- Write clean, well-tested, reviewable code using Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, HBase, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Define requirements and deliver features with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Deploy, monitor, maintain, and scale production systems, including resilient systems handling high message volumes.
- Own code from design through maintenance, identify risks and technical debt, and improve performance.
- Review pull requests and design documents and apply established coding patterns and best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design meetings, project coordination, and domain ownership.
- Provide first-line support for product outages and bugs while on support duty.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing and supporting software in a production environment.
- At least 2 years of programming experience in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, Python, or C++.
- Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience developing front-end applications.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience using third-party APIs and building resilient systems.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication.
